Otter and Kingfisher: two new Encounters in the Wild titles

Supremely talented nature writer Jim Crumley returns with two new additions to his hugely popular Encounters in the Wild series, in which he gets up close and personal with Britain’s favourite animals.

Otter and Kingfisher are released on 15 March 2018, taking the series up to eight titles; other Encounters in the Wild books are Barn Owl, Fox, Hare, Swan, Skylark and Badger.

All half dozen titles are beautiful hardback gift editions featuring stunning artwork by Carry Akroyd.

In each of the books Jim – with his inimitable passion and vision – relives memorable encounters with some of our best-loved native species, offering intimate insights into their extraordinary lives.
