Crime writers at new Byres Road book festival

Four Contraband authors will be appearing at Scotland’s newest book festival, which takes place in Glasgow’s Byres Road from 23 to 26 September.

Our authors appearing at the event include:

Matt Bendoris, author of Wicked leaks, and Douglas Skelton, author of The Dead Don’t Boogie. “Murder with a Smile“, with Aline Templeton and Mark Leggatt. Friday 23 September, 6pm. Hillhead Library.

Graeme Macrae Burnet, author of His Bloody Project, shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2016. “Crime with a Twist“, with Martin MacInnes. Friday 23 September, 7pm. Byres Road Waterstones.

Russel D McLean, author of And When I Die, will be hosting the “Anne Cleeves Murder Mystery Night“. Saturday 24 September, 6.30pm. Oxfam bookshop, Byres Road.
