An exciting couple of days are coming up with launch events for new crime thrillers by Douglas Skelton and Russel D McLean.

Douglas Skelton will be launching The Dead Don’t Boogie at Waterstones, Ayr, on Thursday 1 September at 7pm. He’ll be joined by fellow Contrabander, Michael J Malone, as they discuss Dominic Queste, the wisecracking investigator at the heart of The Dead Don’t Boogie.

On Friday 2 September, Russel D McLean will also be launching his new book, And When I Die, described by the Sunday Times as “edgy from page one”. Russel will be introduced by author Jay Stringer at Waterstones Argyle Street in Glasgow at 6.30pm.

Later in the month, Neil Broadfoot will be launching All the Devils, the third (and best) instalment in his series featuring investigative journalist Doug McGregor and his police contact DS Susie Drummond. Neil will be at Waterstones West End, Edinburgh, on Thursday 22 September at 6.30pm.
