At Least This I Know is an intimate, moving debut poetry collection exploring migration, queerness and the search for a place to call home.

Tracing a personal journey from Mexico through the United States to Scotland, Andrés N. Ordorica writes of family histories, borders crossed, love and loss, and the complexities of living between worlds. His poems explore what it means to belong – to a country, a community, a family or oneself – and the connections we forge when traditional ideas of home and identity no longer fit.

Tender and searching, these are poems that confront prejudice, displacement and grief while celebrating love, resilience and the joy of finding your people.

Shortlisted for Poetry Book of the Year at Scotland’s National Book Awards, At Least This I Know is a powerful and deeply human exploration of identity and belonging.
